During the initial consultation with my clients we talk about a lot of wedding related topics. One of the topics that come up is first dance, more often than not the couple don't have a song in mind, and of course because most of them book us at least six months in advance they don't need to have a song in mind. However my recommendation is always to choose a song with meaning for them as a couple, it doesn't have to be a song with a special message about love...it just have to mean something for them. I always tell my clients, "Your guests will not be paying attention to the lyrics, they will be looking at you and the connection that the song creates between you as husband and wife" These are song that I usually recommend for the first dance:
